South Abington residents recycled an estimated four tons of televisions, computer monitors and other components, small appliances, cell phones and other electronics during the township’s e-scrap recycling event Sept. 26. The event was planned and flawlessly presented by township Clerk Susan McLane and supported by Department of Public Works crew members Robert Rhodes Jr. and Jonathon Needham. The township thanks Allied Services for allowing us to use its office campus to stage the event.
