HELP WANTED

South Abington Township is accepting applications for a maintenance employee.  Duties include snow plowing, road maintenance and repair, vehicle maintenance, sanitary sewer and pump station maintenance, stormwater drainage installation and repair, park maintenance, tree trimming and building maintenance and repair.  Knowledge of mechanical/electrical is a plus.

Applicant must possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Valid Pennsylvania CDL License.
• Equipment operator with snow plowing experience.
• Good physical condition – must pass a pre-employment physical including drug testing.
• Residence within reasonable proximity of the Township.
• Able to work any schedule or hours due to emergency conditions such as weather, etc.
• Reliable means of transportation.
